Plums

The plum is a species known for more than two thousand years, its varieties are mainly characterized by producing an oval-shaped fruit with a bluish-purple skin, with a high sugar content.

Chile as an individual country is its main exporter, followed by the United States and Spain.

The cultivation of plum trees has developed in the central zone of the country, in particular, between the regions of Valparaíso and Libertador Bernardo O’Higgins.

Benefits

Known for preventing constipation and facilitating intestinal transit, plums, in addition to containing a lot of fiber, have many more nutritional properties that take care of and protect the health of our body because they provide calcium, potassium, copper, zinc and vitamin A, C and K.

The plum seems to be beneficial and a natural remedy for coughs and against mucus. They take care of the respiratory system and are highly recommended for bronchitis or to expel mucus from the lungs.

They purify the liver, the intestines, the kidneys in particular and in general the whole organism. They help us eliminate toxins.
