Cherry Season

We have started a new cherry season that, as always, is full of challenges.
We count with the technology, an excellent team and a commercial platform that allows us to look at this new challenge with confidence.

Without a doubt we must also be alert to the new questions that this new season presents us, within which we can mention limited air spaces, a volume growth of at least 30% compared to the previous season and a commercial environment with a certain degree of uncertainty as a result of Covid-19.

On the other hand, among the positive things, we can first mention a very good climate that will allow us to count with a good product.
We can also say that China, our main trading partner for cherries, has faced the virus vigorously, which has allowed them today to be on a very good economic footing, and with a return to normalcy greater than that of other economies. There is a tendency to consume more at home, which has led many people to buy relatively expensive products to consume with family and friends. Finally, we have a late Chinese New Year which gives us more than 2 extra weeks of sales for our cherries compared to last season.

All of this makes us optimistic and ready to face this new season!
